Policies & Booking Info
1. How do booking and retainers work?
A session is officially reserved after the photography agreement is signed and the required retainer is paid. The retainer is applied toward the total cost of your session. Its refundability and any remaining payment deadlines will be clearly stated in your agreement and invoice. Dates are not held without completed booking requirements.
2. What payment methods are accepted?
Payments may be made through the secure payment options provided on your invoice. Any applicable taxes, travel charges, add-ons, or other approved costs will be clearly listed before payment is due. The full balance must be paid according to the schedule in your photography agreement before final images are delivered.
3. What is the rescheduling and cancellation policy?
Please provide notice as soon as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel. Requests are handled according to the terms of your photography agreement and may depend on notice, availability, and expenses already incurred. Repeated changes, late cancellations, or missed sessions may require a new retainer or additional fee.
4. What happens if I arrive late?
Please arrive ready to begin at the scheduled time. Arriving late may reduce the available photography time because sessions are often scheduled around lighting, locations, rentals, or other commitments. Additional time is not guaranteed and may require an added fee when available.
5. When and how will I receive my images?
Edited images are delivered through a private online gallery within the timeframe stated in your photography agreement. Delivery time may vary depending on the session type, image volume, and requested products. Any expected delays will be communicated as soon as possible.
6. Do you provide RAW or unedited files?
RAW and unedited files are not delivered. Your final gallery includes photographs selected and professionally edited to reflect the quality and creative style of Lyt Ops Media. Additional retouching or revisions outside the included service may be available for an added fee.
7. How may I print and share my photographs?
Personal-session clients may download, print, and share their final photographs for personal use according to the usage permission included with their gallery or agreement. Images may not be sold, commercially published, substantially altered, or presented as another creator’s work without written authorization. Commercial projects are governed by the specific license in the photography agreement.
8. Will my photographs be used publicly?
Your photographs will not be used for the Lyt Ops Media website, portfolio, social media, advertising, or other public marketing without the permission required by your photography agreement or a separate written model release. Declining promotional use will not affect the care or quality of your session. Additional permission is required for recognizable images of minors from a parent or legal guardian.
9. What happens if weather or safety affects the session?
Outdoor sessions may be adjusted, paused, relocated, or rescheduled when weather, location conditions, illness, equipment concerns, or other circumstances create a safety risk or prevent quality work. Lyt Ops Media will communicate available options and make reasonable efforts to find a suitable alternative. Safety takes priority for everyone involved.
